INTRO TO SPANISH

Mastering basic greetings and essential phrases for navigating daily situations like ordering food, asking directions, and checking into a hotel, along with key vocabulary related to your travel needs. Learn numbers, colors, days, months, and common items, while prioritizing pronunciation based on phonetic Spanish alphabet. Gain exposure to authentic music and culture of Spanish-speaking regions of the world.
GUIDED MEDITATION
Fridays, 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 4/25-5/30 (6 classes)

Meditation is believed to have several positive benefits including lowering stress, boosting immunity, and lowering blood pressure. This class will focus on guided meditation based on mantras. Open to all levels.
Both classes are taught by Mauricio Arambula, a native Spanish speaker from Colombia and a public school educator in Spanish, Mathematics, Principles of Engineering, and Computer Science. He is also a Certified Instructor in Meditation, Yoga, and Bath Sound Healing. Mauricio has lived and worked in California for over 20 years.
Registration for our ESL/Citizenship Program and High School Equivalency (HSE) Program will open in August in the new school year.
