High School Equivalency
Congratulations on taking an important step towards completing your high school equivalency.
Milpitas Adult Education's adult basic and secondary education classes can help you build your reading, writing, and math skills. Our classes serve adults who wish to develop the skills needed to reach their educational, professional and personal goals.
These classes are held on site, in a classsroom led by a teacher. Students will prepare to take the HiSET or GED test.
Monday-Friday; 9 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays; 6 - 8:30 p.m.
If you are an adult 18 years of older, and you haven't met your credit requirements to graduate from high school, Milpitas Adult Education's Independent Studies program offers an opportunity to earn those missing credits via a self-study program with teacher guidance and mandatory weekly 30-minute meetings (by prior appointment with the teacher).
(Enrollment in the program requires submission of an official transcript and is based on the evaluated number of credits needed to complete the High School Diploma.)
By appointment with teacher.
F-1 (I-20) students, B-1, and B-2 visa holders are prohibited from attending publicly-funded adult education programs in the United States.
